Welcome to CULTURES on FILM ... History In The Making
Greater human understanding, acceptance, tolerance and the recognition of our ONEness survive at the foundation of our “civilized” world. With CULTURES on FILM we intend to create and distribute a “film library” exploring the amazing connectivity we humans share through our diverseness one culture at a time . . . and, in our own small way, or perhaps not so small . . . help make the world a better place.
Cultural diversity is one of our world’s greatest gifts. Our mission is to observe, preserve and celebrate this diversity through film, by creating compelling, thought-provoking documentaries that chronicle the tremendously different people and cultures that fill our world community.
Please explore our website and, if you share our passion for POSITIVE CHANGE, we invite you to join an ever-growing group of concerned citizens who believe in our goal to bring “an honest and independent view” of our world’s many diverse cultures that together form the human experience.

GLOBAL FILM PROJECT - “The Human Experience”
For the first time in history, CULTURES on FILM is combining the talents of experienced filmmakers from around the world to promote cross cultural understanding through a series of documentaries focused solely on the lifestyles, values, and attitudes of individuals who inhabit the more than 200 nations in our world.
This approach will provide viewers an opportunity to gain an enriched appreciation for each country's unique culture through in-depth 60 to 120 minute documentaries that will include interviews with the country’s citizens and an unflinching view of their society. Each film will be directed by a local, independent filmmaker from each respective nation.
CULTURESonFILM will produce the films in stages. The first phase focuses on countries that are currently in conflict or are cultures that are under-represented in the mainstream media. The first group of films, scheduled for production in 2007 and 2008 are:
By breaking down this global project into a strategic plan with manageable parts, we can give each group of films the attention and consideration they deserve.
UNREPRESENTED and UNRECOGNIZED PEOPLE
We are partnering with other not-for-profit organizations that focus on unrepresented nations and people, and we will chronicle their livelihoods and struggle to protect and promote their human rights and cultural preservation. These films will also follow their dedication to find non-violent solutions to the conflicts that affect them.
This collaboration is equally important to our vision and goal to educate people about the myriad and richness of other cultures. Their insights will add great depth and perspective to the films, contributing to our mission and effort to promote harmony, tolerance, and positive change. Some of the first films about unrepresented nations and people we will create in 2008 are:
